The channelizing device crews reach for first - lane closures, parking control, and short-duration work zones. Height sets the base weight and the collar combo MUTCD allows.

Collars & MUTCD Compliance

Night work requires reflective collars: 28" cones take one 6" or a 4"+6" pair, 36" cones need dual collars for high-speed roads, and 18" cones stay uncollared for daytime use.
